Dr Miteki Degawa

Miteki graduated from the University of Bristol with honors in 2015, and went onto complete a rotating internship at Highcroft Referral Hospital, where she met Michael.

Since then her veterinary career has varied from working in busy 24 hospitals in London, building up experience with specialists and emergency care patients, to locuming over south England, and most recently developing a stable and lovely client base in a busy clinic in Buckinghamshire.

Her work ethos is built on treating and loving your pets the way she would her own; working in a way to minimise their stress (as well as their guardian’s stress!) at worrying times, and making sure that the treatment she offers is pragmatic, thorough and always in your pet’s best interest.

Outside of work, Miteki has 2 modes: either being as active as possible with running/cycling/climbing/surfing, or napping. Her rescue cat, Teeny Weeny, is her right-hand man and napping buddy, and she insists there is no greater happiness than napping with her purring bundle of love.
