Lucy Blackwell

Lucy grew up in Nottingham where she worked for a creative media company until 2013. At this time she decided to quit her job, discard her earthly possessions and go travelling. Two years later she returned to the UK and decided to pursue a career towards the one thing she had been consistently passionate about since childhood; animals.


Starting out as a receptionist in a busy 24-hour emergency hospital, Lucy spent the next 5 years working her way up through the ranks and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in April 2021. She has a keen interest in animal nutrition and owns a very chatty ginger moggie whom she rescued as a stray at 6 months old.


Outside of work Lucy enjoys cycling, travelling and is an avid TV and film buff.
